The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a supporting framework we provide to our customers’ employees whereby employees are entitled to free-of-charge and anonymous external counseling to help resolve personal, private and professional difficulties. With the support of EAP these difficulties will have reduced impact on employees’ efficiency, workplace mood and commitment.

Emplify’s consultants offer legal, financial, psychological, social counseling, life coaching, executive counseling and crisis intervention tailor-made to the needs of our customers’ employees. Employees can submit their request for counseling via email or phone, while counseling sessions are conducted over the phone. Psychological counseling is available in person or over the phone, based on the eligibility criteria and frequency (normally 3-12 sessions a year) approved by the customer.

EAP exceeds the mere support provided to employees facing a difficulty, as it can also function as a form of outsourced HR support: it provides counseling and resolution for employee’s personal issues or challenges stemming from their personality that are often out of scope for internal HR. By being anonymous and independent of the employer, EAP is able to provide employees a sense of security and trust that internal HR is not. In addition to resolving personal issues, EAP can also be used for organization and executive development.
