Our company has been providing EAP services since 2011. For a long time we were present on the market as the Hungarian partner of Optum Inc, the biggest international EAP provider. Recently we launched our independent service that relies on the experience we have accumulated since 2011 as well as international results, but tailors EAP specifically to the Hungarian context.

Currently Acala EAP covers approximately 20,000 employees in Hungary. The focus of our daily activities is to provide support and counseling for them and their family members regarding private and work related difficulties. In addition, we are also working on developing our services to be able to help our partners more effectively.

Since 2011 the Hungarian market has changed considerably. EAP that used to be foreign to Hungarian culture has become an acknowledged form of benefit and a service many companies look for. According to our experience, the potential of EAP can be utilized the most effectively, if it is not only considered as a form of benefit, but also used as a modern tool for organization development. Hence, in case of our direct commissions, we conduct an initial situation assessment and collaborate with HR to develop the optimal strategy for introducing the program.
